Covid guidance

For attendance at our rehearsals, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our Covid 19 guidance.

Do we have a risk assessment for Stephen Hill?

Yes, we do. You can view the risk assessment here:

Sheffield Chorale risk assessment - updated 27.01.22

Do I have to notify the choir if I’ve had a positive Covid result?

If you have attended a rehearsal within the period in which you might have been infectious, we would appreciate you letting us know of your positive test so that we can let the other attendees know. Please inform David Ryder via email, rather than the full choir mailing list. If you have tested positive, please ensure that you complete the recommended isolation period before returning to rehearsals.

Do I need to isolate if I was at rehearsal with someone who tested positive?

The Government’s current rules/guidance state that if you are fully vaccinated there is no need to isolate if you have had contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive.

Do I need proof of a negative test result before attending rehearsals?

As a precaution for yourself and others, you are encouraged to take a lateral flow test before coming along. These are freely and easily available from chemists or online via gov.uk

Are there any restrictions at rehearsals?

You are encouraged to wear a face mask when not singing (i.e. start, end and the break) and in close proximity to others

Try to maintain a space between each other (i.e. use alternate chairs).

Please bring all your own music to avoid sharing copies.
